Proposal for A small accessible public garden

This small garden was designed to provide an attractive and welcoming space that can be enjoyed by everyone, including people with limited mobility and wheelchair users, as well as their carers.

The layout provides easy access throughout the garden, with planting at ground level complemented by raised beds at different heights, allowing people to enjoy and interact with the plants whether standing, seated or using a wheelchair. Covered pergolas provide comfortable, sheltered places to sit and spend time in the garden.

As the garden is maintained by volunteers, the planting and design have been kept deliberately simple and low-maintenance. The result is a practical but welcoming garden that is accessible, enjoyable and easy to look after.
